Our Faith Formation Programs are equipping people to live as disciples of Jesus they allow opportunities to encounter Christ through active discipleship, love and share the Good News of Jesus.

Catechesis and liturgy
"The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; it is also the font from which all her power flows." It is therefore the privileged place for catechizing the People of God. "Catechesis is intrinsically linked with the whole of liturgical and sacramental activity, for it is in the sacraments, especially in the Eucharist, that Christ Jesus works in fullness for the transformation of men."

Liturgical catechesis aims to initiate people into the mystery of Christ (mystagogy) by proceeding from the visible to the invisible, from the sign to the thing signified, and from the "sacraments" to the "mysteries." Such catechesis is to be presented by local and regional catechisms. The Catechism, which aims to serve the whole Church in all the diversity of her rites and cultures, will present what is fundamental and common to the whole Church in the liturgy as mystery and as a celebration and then the seven sacraments and the sacramentals.

Catequesis y liturgia

"La liturgia es la cumbre hacia la que se dirige la actividad de la Iglesia; es también la fuente de la que mana todo su poder". Es, por tanto, el lugar privilegiado para catequizar al Pueblo de Dios. "La catequesis está intrínsecamente vinculada a toda la actividad litúrgica y sacramental, pues es en los sacramentos, especialmente en la Eucaristía, donde Cristo Jesús trabaja en plenitud para la transformación de los hombres".

La catequesis litúrgica tiene como objetivo iniciar a las personas en el misterio de Cristo (mistagogia) procediendo de lo visible a lo invisible, del signo a lo significado, y de los "sacramentos" a los "misterios". Esta catequesis se presentará mediante catecismos locales y regionales. El Catecismo, que tiene como objetivo servir a toda la Iglesia en toda la diversidad de sus ritos y culturas, presentará lo que es fundamental y común a toda la Iglesia en la liturgia como misterio y como celebración y luego los siete sacramentos y los sacramentales.
